Originally released as a cassette in 1995 in an edition of 33 copies, this documents some ferociously violent live performances, jump-cut and slashed to pieces by Eb.er with a post-production scalpel until all that’s left are long seconds of silence exploded by electro-acoustic shrapnel and convulsive vocal threat. Insane.

Vinyl reissue of this notorious piece by Rudolf Eb.er, with the A side featuring the legendary Aktion “For Stringquintet and Asstrumpet” performed with Kaori Yakushinji, an incredibly intense vocal/strings/’noise’ work that contrasts meditative chamber music with harrowing tortured/pleading vocals and a genuinely horrifying atmosphere. A uniquely disturbing piece that has few parallels but is not for the faint-hearted. The flip features a wild splicing of assorted live actions, including “For Girlsneck and Sawblade”, “For Disarranged Leg/Arm Prosthesis” and “For Piano and Shotgun”. A phenomenal side, still unparalleled.
