Rabe is best loved for his amazing Was?? album on Wergo (reissued by Jim O'Rourke on Dexter's Cigar) and this bundles a load of related orbits of experimental 20th century form from both Rabe and collaborator Bark, from 1962's "Bolos" scored for 4 trombones through minimal, almost Thomas Koner-esque electroacoustic creations, Cage-ian tape collages, laminal arrangements of American radio broadcasts and vocal drones.
