Despite being named after a great Dead C track, this French duo's (Thierry Monnier and Pierre Faure) sound comes from somewhere further back in terms of avant garde vocabulary, working almost classically-pronounced tabletop guitar shapes and ghostly no-wave/feedback tones/jack crackle into the kind of harmonically disruptive atmospheres favoured by Keith Rowe, early Jim O'Rourke et al.
